SVETOGORATZ is a cheap apartment in the center of Belgrade, located a few steps from the famous theater Atelier 212. This is a beautifully designed studio, ideal for romantic couples who prefer the downtown area. In addition to practical furniture, it presents a number of aesthetically pleasing and carefully selected details. These include turquoise lamps, colorful pillows, peculiar chandeliers and a sizable wall clock. We are taken by the panoramic photo of city scapes, showing the iconic sites by night. There’s a massive double bed with a soft futon and a set of clean towels at your disposal. Across the room, we see a simple dresser with LED TV and a small black-and-white stool that one simply has to try. Mounted bar with a pair of stools orients us toward the kitchen segment, where we find neatly crafted floor and overhead cabinets. The equipment is reduced to a stove, fridge and kettle, which is quite modest but enough for the purposes of a short stay. The whole setting is particularly striking in the evening, when the backlighting is turned on. Bathroom is immaculately clean, well equipped and tiled in class A ceramics. In addition to shower stall and basic sanitation, mini washing machine, water heater and hair dryer are ready for use.

Considering the access to classic attractions, this is certainly one of the best locations in the city. Tashmaidan Park, Nikola Pashic Square and Radio-Television of Serbia are five minutes on foot, while the Republic Square takes less than ten-minute walk. The Church of St. Mark is a hundred meters up the adjacent Takovska Street; Botanical Gardens are at a similar distance in the opposite direction. Fast food places, bars and traditional restaurants are all around. If you’re looking for an affordable apartment accommodation for two in Belgrade, this short-term rental is a perfect alternative to a hotel. Warmly recommended.
