WATERMELON is a super cheap apartment in Belgrade, located close to the Botanical Garden. With modest dimensions but superb interior elegance, this rental is perfect for a romantic couple. First of all, there’s a comfortable double bed with upholstered headboard and colorful bedding at your disposal. Elements of classic lounge are present in the form of beautifully styled shelves and a brass frame mirror. Mini dresser is set just below the window, along with some indoor plants which nicely complement the ambience. Kitchen units are set in an angular fashion, neatly filling the wall recess. Hanging cabinets are supplied with cups and glasses, and are joined by floor cabinets with various appliances. These include a cooktop, electric kettle and a fridge. Evidently, the equipment is not overly abundant, but surely covers the basic needs. In he bathroom, we encounter an interesting combo of uniform and painted tiles; the equipment is reduced to standard toiletries and an oval shower stall. Let’s not forget the charming little balcony, where you can sip your favorite drink or smoke a cigarette.

Practically on the corner of Takovska and George Washington Street, the flat is well connected to other parts of the city. The downtown is only a ten-minute walk from the building. Banija, the legendary cafeteria, is a few hundred meters away; Tashmaidan park and St. Mark’s Church are five minutes on foot. Central city streets Svetogorska and Palmoticeva are in close vicinity. The cheapest apartments in Belgrade are always convenient, especially if you’re on a tight budget.
