ANCHOR is a very affordable apartment in a new building, located in the immediate vicinity of Autokomanda. This is a single-room lodging with an artful interior, introducing valuable paintings, drawings and photo reproductions. An item that should be particularly noted is the wall clock of colossal dimensions and an imaginative design. The increments look like beams, while the symmetry axis bears resemblance to a giant compass. At the footing of this unusual application, there’s a dresser with a floral arrangement and a LED TV set. Right next to it is a mini suite, comprised of two comfortable armchairs and a coffee table. Further across the room we find a spacious double bed, supported by a pair of cleverly crafted bedside tables. The whole ambience is aesthetically consistent and ergonomic. The opposite corner is reserved for an elegant dining set, with a robust black table and two tastefully styled chairs. Overall, a very pleasant setting for a casual meal, nightcap or an early morning coffee. The dining section extends naturally into the kitchenette, revealing partitions of unobtrusive pastel ceramics. The practical equipment includes two series of cabinets, flat cooker and a fridge. Cups and wine glasses are stacked on the floating shelves and ready to use. As we move toward the bathroom,  we notice a masterfully crafted shoe cabinet with a hanger and mini wardrobe. Beside the tastefully chosen tiles, the room is equipped with a water heater, bathtub and modern sanitary installations. A set of fresh towels is also provided, which always comes in handy.

The parking space in the garage is free of charge, which is good news if you’re using personal transportation. The proximity of the E-75 highway is what makes this apartment a convenient in-transit lodging. Close by is the popular Marakana (now the “Red Star” Stadium), which is why we recommend this lodging during sporting events. Hotel M, The Faculty of Political Sciences and FON, are a couple of bus stops away from the address. Vozdovac is a settlement of specific history and charm, particularly the Vojvode Stepe Street with its antiquated repair shops and little cafes.
