Accommodation PETRA is a cheap apartment in the center of Belgrade, located near the bohemian quarter of Skadarlia. This is a well decorated and functional single-bedroom lodge, suitable for a romantic couple. We start our mini tour in the living room: the space is slightly smaller, but very tastefully furnished and cozy. There’s a simple sofa with plenty of pads, nice coffee-table and a dresser with mounted LED TV. The corner is stacked with dining table and chairs, comprising a pleasant setting for breakfast and coffee. Art paintings, potted plant and herbal basket refresh the ambience very nicely. The bedroom is quite spacious and basically equipped. It features a comfy French bed with padded headrest and clean towels. Night tables and lamps effectively frame the boudoir. A sizeable wardrobe is placed against the sidewall, giving you plenty of room to unpack. Classic chandelier and art painting add an aesthetic touch to the otherwise practical setting. The kitchen is tiled in ceramics and equipped with floor/overhead cabinets, including a smoked glass cupboard. Appliances include a fridge, stove, kettle, dishwasher and a washing machine set up here to save up some bathroom space. The bathroom has impeccable black-and-white tiles, shower stall, laundry basket and basic sanitation. Everything is neat, clean and ready for our guests.

Gundulicev Venac is a very interesting location, with lots of old town charm. The nearby sites include the Botanical Garden, iconic Bitef Theater and Bayloni green market. It takes a few minutes on foot to reach Skadarlia. The Republic Square and Knez Mihailova Street are within a ten-minute walk. If you want to explore the small cafes and bars, the route easily descends to the Danube Quay. The adjacent streets of George Washington and Despot Stefan Boulevard are important city roads, with multiple lines of public transport.
