Apartment ECHO is an inexpensive rental in downtown Belgrade, located in the Kralja Petra Street, close to Kalemegdan Park. By all accounts, this is a truly unique offer on the agency market. Namely, the interior of this duplex more resembles the ambience of a cafe than a typical lodging. Right upon entering the ground level, we encounter a luxury showcase with a wide selection of drinks, followed by large mirrors, salon furniture and a booth seating. There’s a comfy lounge set, glass coffee table and a shelf with a LED TV. The next segment also comes with a lounge, huge mirrors, sofa, drink cooler and a separate TV set. We notice the beautiful antique showcase, old time piece and peculiar wall application, showing figments of a house roof, window and front wall. We’re pretty sure that similar design doesn’t exist in all the available apartments. The last segment of the ground floor is a kitchen with a large bar, armchairs and a mini stereo. In addition to fridge and stove, there’s plenty of various dishes, more than enough to serve a full meal. Now we climb to the upper floor and discover a neatly decorated bedroom. Beside the comfy double bed, there’s a sofa, dresser and a couple of armchairs. A stack of clean towels is neatly folded and ready to use. The bathroom presents superb dark-gray tiles, a hairdryer and shower stall with protective curtain. Basic sanitation and washing machines are installed in a separate toilet.

We’re at the heart of the old town, therefore a very attractive location. Important local sites include the Bayrakli Mosque, city zoo and the illustrious Strahinjica Bana Street. The Student Square, university campus and Knez Mihailova Street are five minutes on foot. About a hundred meters downhill is the Tsar Dushan Street, with excellent links to other parts of the city.
