Holiday accommodation HERZ is an affordable apartment in downtown Belgrade, located in the Obilicev Venac area. Aesthetically pleasing and quite comfortable, this lodge is suitable for up to four visitors. We begin our tour in the living room, which has a great layout and lots of daylight. The collection of art prints has enriched the ambience quite nicely. The lounge includes a corner suite, sofa and an armchair, with both seats usable as extra beds. The dresser with cascading shelves is exemplary of true craftsmanship. Guests are provided with a small dining table with chairs. As a welcome gesture, wine glasses and a bottle of red await you on the table. As for the bedroom, there’s a spacious French bed, leather armchair and a LED TV at your disposal. The boudoir is illuminated with two lamps and equipped with extra pillows and clean towels. This whole setup is great for resting after a long trip or a day-long city tour. In the kitchen, we notice elegant cabinets with neatly stacked glasses and coffee cups. The equipment is reduced to a fridge, kettle and built-in cooker, which is enough for fixing a light meal or hot beverage. The bathroom displays impressive black-white tiles, shower stall, boiler, washing machine and basic sanitary ware. There’s a walk-in closet in the corridor, giving you plenty of room to unpack. For our final remark we step out on the terrace: the Vojvoda Vuk Park and Kosancicev Venac area are something to behold.

All classic sites are in the immediate vicinity. Zeleni Venac, Knez Mihailova Street and Republic Square are a five-minute walk. Kalemegdan Park and Student Square are within easy walking distance. The bohemian Skadarlia takes ten minutes on foot. Numerous restaurants, cafes and nightclubs are situated in the surrounding streets. If you travel by car, public garage is located in the same street. Need an apartment in Belgrade for a family or a small band of friends? Rent-a-flat HERZ would be a decent hotel alternative.
