BLUE is an accesible accommodation in downtown Belgrade, less than a hundred meters away from the bohemian quarter “Skadarlija”. It is structured as a two-bedroom apartment and characterized by a very interesting layout and functionality. The interior design is definitely marked by the complementary blue and orange. This concept is best implemented in the living room where one side bears a light-blue-painted wall, and the other a series of three paintings. The luxurious corner sofa is softened with a couple of blue cushions, and can be utilized as a double bed, if necessary. The carpentry is masterful and includes a pair of color-contrast coffee tables, small dresser, floating shelf and a long cabinet placed over the TV set. A series of themed drawings seem more like adornments than works of high artistic value. The side wall is covered by a huge wardrobe, with a central gap adapted into an office space. Back in the main corridor, we notice an interesting structural solution – a sliding door which separates the bedroom from the kitchen. The bedroom is of modest dimensions, but with a comfortable double bed and a couple of charming bedside tables. In the hall, there are orange walls and a built-in wardrobe with multiple shelves, which brings great vibrancy and warmth to the ambiance. Right next to it is matte black dining table with two chairs, resulting in a very clear contrast and striking visual effect. The kitchen is entered through an open archway. The edges of the lower cabinets and floating shelves are equally rounded, resulting in an eye-pleasing view. Appliances are bountiful and comprise of a toaster, microwave, high-tech cooker and mini dishwasher. In order to save some kitchen space, the fridge is set up in the in the hall. The bathroom is fully lined with neutral gray tiles, with flashes of orange towels and a shower curtain. In addition to the basic sanitation, the room is equipped with a standard bathtub and a washing machine.

The extraordinary location of this apartment is a quality that speaks for itself. Skadarlija, The Republic Square, Knez Mihailova Street, Terazije Square, whatever direction you choose you come across one of the classic Belgrade attractions. The nearby Despot Stefan Boulevard is a strategically important route, with many useful bus lines driving through (16, 58, 95). Also, the Makedonska Street offers a combination of both trolley and bus lines (28, 41, 65, 77). If you’re using your personal vehicle, the public garage by the “Politika” building is only a few hundred meters away. As a suitable lodging for a romantic duo or a small group of friends, apartment BLUE brings an integral Belgrade experience. Higly recommended.
