Rent-a-flat MONGOOSE is a cheap apartment in the center of Belgrade, located close to the Serbian Parliament. This is a beautifully designed and well equipped studio, suitable for three visitors. Descended ceiling with backlighting, bare brick partition and orange details all seem very effective. Equally impressive is the zigzag shelf with discreet lighting and a collection of decorative items. A cityscape themed painting adds a bit of art sense to the overall ambience. As expected, center-piece is the massive French bed with padded headrest. With compliments of the owner, neatly arranged towels and welcoming sweets await you on the bed. We notice a fold-out armchair as a potential single bed. Crafty bar and stools provide a pleasant setting for a light meal and a cup of coffee. Right behind are the kitchen cabinets and showcases, including a set of cups, plates and wine glasses. Induction cooktop, kettle and microwave are also at your disposal. The bathroom presents a shower stall, boiler, washing machine and modern sanitary facilities. It’s worth mentioning the first-rate tiles and shelf with clean towels. Note that there’s a large mirror and wardrobe in the hallway, so you’ll have plenty of storage space.

Downtown location and Majke Jevrosime Street suggest a very intense urban experience. The Republic Square, Terazie Square and bohemian Skadarlia are five minutes on foot. Less than ten minutes is the Pioneer Park, St. Mark’s Cathedral and Tashmaidan Park. A few steps from the building is the always lively Nusiceva Street, with dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants. Lack of parking space is not a problem because Politika public garage is just a hundred meters away. If you need cheap accommodation for two, possibly three friends, apartment for a day in Belgrade MONGOOSE is a solid hotel alternative. Highly recommended.
